He vowed to protect the undead — now the living hunt them.

Reaper's End Novella

Reaper’s End

A standalone prequel, set two centuries before the events of the Plagueborn series.

On the remote Aidaril Islands, the Necropolis casts a long shadow. In a school for the undead, one of the living, named Taver Wyn is training to protect a young undead mage named Tezcat Licolo. When dark forces attack the island, and someone close betrays him, Taver must navigate a world of magic and ancient threats if he is to save his friend.

As they flee to the ancient fortress of Reaper’s End, Taver will uncover a plot to exterminate the undead forever.

Reaper’s End is a dark fantasy tale of survival and friendship, filled with dark magic, terrible battles and world where magic is both salvation and curse.

Lore tidbit: Long before the events of Reaper’s End, the living and the undead shared the world in uneasy peace. That ended in 702YC, when fear and manipulation sparked the Purges — a world‑wide hunt that erased hundreds of thousands of virals and condemned many living allies as traitors. The scars of that age never healed. Even centuries later, the undead remain mistrusted if not a myth, their existence a reminder of old terrors the living refuse to face.
